August 3
Not much news as nothing much happens on the weekend. Cam is still hooked up to the heart monitor and it is driving him nuts as he can't leave the room and going to the bathroom is a big deal. We watched 3 movies yeaterday, played cards and read. We hired a full time caregiver, no English, he works or 12 hours for 12 dollars. I find it difficuldt to have him around all the time. They think I am to old to take care of him. I guess I am older in China than at home.

Ni hao (nee-Ha-OW) (hello ) from Ronai's. When we were travelling in China we said this Ni hao (nee-Ha-OW)hello to every Asian looking person we passed One couple laughed and said they were Japanese but smilingly said that was OK

Dear Cam and Miriam,
We are very excited for you, and happy to be able to keep updated via your webblog. We are very impressed with your computer webblog!
Jonathan and Melanie
What an experience for all of you Miriam. You'll have many tales to tell. You will have to work on your bargaining skills. In the fall I bought a pair of shoes for $11. The selling price in the beginning was $50. They seem to expect you to wager with them.
Good luck!
Louise
Miriam, you are into the 3rd week on your adventure in China with Cam...your pictures are great! WE are thinking of you everyday and hope the therapies for Cam are working....you are doing a GREAT job with the BLOG! When we were in China, Dave was the bargainer, it has to be in one's blood! Sally E
