Cam had a rough day yesterday. His mind was foggy and He had the Chinese Renenge. Did get in TCM and PT, then to bed for most of the day. He will get more stem cells tomorrow.
I went to WalMart by myself yesterday. I must have gotten the only cab driver in Bejing who didn't know where it was. I got quite a ride of the city. I was giving him directions in English and he was taking them in Chinese. I had to buy things to eat I recognized, hard when everything is written in Chinese. I am living on cheese and crackers, toast and carefully washed fruit.

What an experience you are having. Just getting out to the markets is a challenge and trying to go places without knowing the lanquage. Thanks for the comments from so far away. Ruth Tyler

Hi Miriam and Cam ~ A friend just sent this to me.....thought it might send a "net-laugh" to you and wondered if you have noticed any of the humorous translations??? I hope that Cam will be having better days soon, and that you are doing OK. Yea, Walmart!
Thinking of you both, Julie

Sorry that I could not paste the entire link. I'm sure that you have seen many "funny mis-translations" though.
Hi Cam and Miriam
sounds like you are having the "time of your life". You would think that with the Olympics there would be more English speaking people helping athletes and tourists....

Hi Miriam
Crackers and cheese...good diet food! Great seeing you trying to enjoy your time. Walmart sounds like a big outing! We are having our gift shop meeting tomorrow so I will remind everyone of your blog!! Take care and get more to eat! Cheers Theresa E.
I hope you are both felling better. Mir, you need more than cheese and crackers to keep up your strength.
We're thinking and praying for you every day for better health and GOOD RESULTS!
Hang in there,
Mike & Penny
Hope things are better for Cam today. Things must be ramping up for the Olympics. The cab drivers should take a crash couse in English! Hope you have found some good eats!
